ELOISE GOLLEDGE (Podiatrist)

B. Pod

MAPodA MAAPSM
Diploma of Dance (NZSD)

Eloise graduated from QUT with distinction in 2017, she considers herself to be very fortunate to have had the mentorship of Jason McLellan during her studies and during that time developed a strong passion for paediatric podiatry. Eloise has an affinity with children which she attributes to years of working with and teaching younger children during her time as a classical dancer. Her training and experience as a dancer is something she draws on when treating little feet, and Eloise regularly undertakes pre-pointe assessments for dancers to ensure they are ready to transition en pointe.

Having taken a small pause clinically to welcome her first child, Eloise returns to the LBF team more eager than ever, commencing her pathway to gaining her paediatric specialty.

SIMON O'DWYER-MAZUR (Podiatrist)

B. Pod MAPodA SEPA PPA

Affiliate member of the Australasian College of Podiatric Surgery

Endorsed to prescribe scheduled medicines

We're lucky to have Simon on board at LBF. Simon brings his previous podiatry experience and expertise, and combines this with his thirst for knowledge to provide the utmost in clinical care for our LBF families. Having been a pretty top runner in his time, Simon has a strong interest in paediatric biomechanics. His calm and gentle demeanour creates comfort in our busy clinic environment, so it's easy for children (and parents alike) to warm to Simon quickly. Simon recently completed his post-graduate training and accreditation through AHPRA for the Endorsement for Scheduled Medicines. This means that Simon is able to prescribe medications such as antibiotics, antifungals and topical corticosteroids for the management of a variety of podiatric conditions. Additionally, he is able to use clinically relevant scheduled medicines including methoxyflurane (the green whistle) and benzodiazepines to assist with pre-operative and needle anxiety, where necessary. Simon also has undertaken additional studies in diagnostic ultrasonography, which is very helpful clinically in the assessment of soft tissue injury. Being very hands on and practical, Simon is often in the lab customising footwear to add to his patients' treatment regime.

AARON ROBERTSON (Podiatrist)

BHSc (Pod) MAPodA MSEPA MASMA

A history of sporting injuries and podiatry visits, ignited Aaron's initial interests in the field of Podiatry. Aaron went on to study at Queensland's University of Technology and graduated in 2013. After working in the private setting for some years, Aaron soon returned to QUT to pursue a teaching role where he currently lectures undergraduate students whilst undertaking his PhD in Paediatric Podiatry. More specifically, his PhD explores the complexities of heel pain in children and adolescents. Having two children of his own, Aaron has a keen interest in Paediatric Podiatry and sporting injuries and has established excellent rapports with children and parents alike. A local west-sider, Aaron enjoys his weekend Bunnings trips, time with his family and supporting his local community. Aaron is an avid learner and he equally enjoys his time in the lab manufacturing his patient's orthoses, as he does teaching, studying and working clinically in the consult room.
